PAG grease for calipers
Specialized high-temperature grease based on polyalkylene glycol base, thickened with lithium complex soap.
Designed for caliper and brake piston guides.
PAG lubrication is wear-resistant under conditions of small vibrational movements - a key feature for caliper guides that make hundreds of small back and forth movements in one trip. Therefore, lubricants on PAGs are often recommended specifically for caliper fingers.
The PAG polyalkylene glycol base, unlike silicone, does not react with DOT5 brake fluid, which uses silicone oils in its production. What makes it universal for use in a hydraulic system with brake fluids of all classes: DOT3, DOT4, DOT5, DOT 5.1.
