The composition MC 2020 is a suspension of molybdenum disulfide in a polymer solution and is designed to obtain an anti-friction solid lubricant coating cured at room temperature.

MODE OF APPLICATION
Surface preparation
The surface must be thoroughly cleaned, degreased using solvent 646 or nefras C2-80 / 120, then dried. It is recommended to dry it in an oven or drying cabinet at a temperature of about + 50 ° C for 30 minutes.
Contamination of the prepared surface with water, oil, dust, other substances that can reduce the adhesion of the composition to the substrate is not allowed, contact with hands is not allowed. The interval between the operation of surface preparation and the application of MC 2020 should not exceed 60 minutes.
The durability of the coating depends on the surface roughness, the optimal value of which is Ra = 1.6-3.2 microns. Preliminary sandblasting and chemical surface treatment are recommended.
Preparation of the composition
Stir the composition MS 2020 thoroughly before use with a clean stick or stirrer for at least 10 minutes (color irregularity is allowed during stirring). At the end of mixing, the composition should be a dark gray colored mass, while no sediment should remain on the bottom and on the walls of the container. If necessary, dilution of MS 2020 with technical isopropyl alcohol is allowed.
Application of the composition
Application of the composition is recommended at a temperature of 20 ± 10 ° C and a relative humidity of not more than 80% using one of the following methods: Spraying Dipping Application by brush
The composition of MS 2020 is applied in 1-2 layers. The recommended dry layer thickness is 7-15 microns. If necessary, the second layer is applied after drying the previous one in air at room temperature until matt appears (20 minutes). The surface should be covered as evenly as possible.
Curing the composition
Cures at room temperature - 20 ° C.
The part with the applied composition is dried in air at a temperature of 15 ÷ 25 ° C for 2-3 hours, after which it can be put into operation.
It is recommended to control the coating thickness with a thickness gauge for paints and varnishes. In the event that the coating thickness is greater than the required one, it is allowed to fine-tune the specified thickness by lapping with the mating part. Abrasive cleaning is prohibited.
Coating quality control
On visual inspection, the coating should be matt, solid and dark gray. Bubbles, drips, delamination, foreign inclusions, craters, gloss, mechanical damage are not allowed.
