APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Clean the treated surfaces from
lubricants, oils and dirt. For removing
oils, it is recommended to use Cleaner
Permatex Brake Parts
Brake and Parts Cleaner.
To remove old gaskets, it is recommended
use Permatex Gasket Remover
Gasket
Remover.
2. Apply the gasket former by hand
continuous layer on one side flange, making
sure a continuous is applied.
3. Mount.
4. Tighten the fasteners in the usual manner.
5. Withstand parts to cure the former
gaskets within 1 hour before the first use.

Completion of the repair
1. Remove excess gasket former dry
pure matter.
2.Clean your hands with a Scented Hand Cleaner
orange Permatex
Fast Orange®
or using
water and soap.
Dismantling
1. When disassembling small parts,
apply local heating of the surface from
204.4 C to 232.2 C (400F to 450F).
2. Sharp, light tapping and
detach the parts with loosening movements.
Repeat the procedure if necessary
heating / loosening.
3. When dismantling large parts
a small hammer must be used and
tool for loosening / breaking parts
with which to start loosening and
chipping off parts fastened together.
4. After dismantling, it is necessary to withstand the time until
finding the surfaces of room parts
temperature.
5. To remove anaerobic materials
it is recommended to use a gasket remover
Permatex Gasket Remover.
